When I create a new Chat I get a set of formatting buttons at the top of the box (typeface, links, bullets, quotes, etc.). However, when I'm responding to an existing chat, none of these options appear to be available. Some of them can be done effectively from the keyboard, if you know the shortcuts - I can enter italic text with Ctrl-I, etc. - but for others I can't figure out how to do this. In particular, typing Ctrl-K which allows one to enter a link in many other contexts, in this application seems to bring up the browser's web search bar instead. None of the familiar Markdown features ('*' for bullet) seem to be recognized either, so I'm not sure if there is any way to get this formatting into a comment. [I looked for this issue which I thought I had seen, but was unable to find it. Feel free to close and just add a +1 somewhere else if this is a duplicate?]

Feedback from FLOAT Demo: "After the round is complete, on each submission (detail view) displaying a list of each voter and their # of votes on that submission. this would be a toggle setting in Round Creation, where the steward can decide if the votes are visible just to the stewards, or to all round participants. they need this for making sure people are following the rules, and also just to learn about voting patterns"

I have an enormously long list of recent "Activity" (under the bell icon); when I switch to looking at the "Unread" tab, it seems to be only aware of cases where I've explicitly clicked through from this menu. So for example if there are ten new replies to a single comment, and I read through all of them when I see the first one, this doesn't seem to mark anything as read. The only way to remove them from the "Unread" tab seems to be clicking through each one from that tab/menu/list. Given how hard it can be to toggle back and forth, it would be great if it could recognize when the entire message is presented on the screen (perhaps with some minimum duration, if that gives better results) and then marked as read.

When submitting a "Response" to a track, any deliberately inserted white space or line breaks disappear and the response becomes a blob of more-or-less unformatted HTML. It would be nice if the same formatting options were available for a Response as for a Comment. Unclear to me whether the Track owner sees them formatted or unformatted, since I've only been on the "user" end of this transaction.

Not sure if this is a bug/feature request - I would imagine that once i create the funding round, it should display in the group menu. This currently isn't happening. I have to go to all views and add it to the menu.

Not quite sure if this is a bug report or a feature request, but I notice what when I add images to an Event the first image isn't what gets displayed as the main or hero image of the post and the set of images shows up in a random order (not the order uploaded in, not the numerical or alphabetical order by filename). It makes the resulting event post chaotic and less effective. If this is not happening broadly, then maybe it's a bug connected with my OS + browser? If others are encountering this, I guess I'm asking for way more control of how event posts can be formatted, especially how the image show up. We've noticed that things look nicer and images are more predictable when we use the Resources Post format, but that's not always the right move (and doesn't link to the calendar in the same way)

When someone enrolls in a track, there could be a clear "Start Track" button before the first action, rather than users having to figure out which action to click on first. After completing each action, users could receive a "Go To Next Action" popup that guides them forward, instead of requiring manual navigation to select the next step. These improvements would create a more intuitive and guided experience throughout the track journey. I'm also aware of our previous decision regarding non-linear learning and that requiring actions to be completed in linear sequence is planned as a future feature.

Clicking outside the post comment window drops the user back to the parent thread and loses any text entered into the comment window. Replication path: (PC/Chrome Browser) Context: From any given thread eg https://www.hylo.com/groups/building-hylo/chat/bugs Actions: Click on a post eg https://www.hylo.com/groups/building-hylo/chat/bugs/post/86472 Start typing a reply Click outside the reply / post area Current behaviour - user returned to post area/url and any text just entered in the comments is lost. Expected behaviour - system should detect the presence of text in the comment window and confirm user wishes to abandon "in progress" comment allowing user to either continue or complete/submit comment first

My expectation is that when I make a change or addition on the "Roles & Badges" setting, I'll need to Save it. No Save button currently.
