Stream view shows no posts when opened in new tab

I've made the Stream view the home view for my group -- not sure if that is relevant. To reproduce:
- Go to the stream view and observe that there are posts.
- Close the Hylo tab in your browser.
- Reopen Hylo in your browser.
- Observe that there are now no posts displayed.
- Refresh the page and observe that the posts are back again.

Tibet Sprague: I ran into this issue again. I know that on another bug report I'd said I couldn't reproduce it. However, I just ran into it again. The only thing I noticed about it is that I had Hylo open in another tab, I then opened Hylo in a second tab, navigated to a different group, and then saw the No Posts message.
