Space posts not showing up in Group All Activity for Space members

Expected: when a member of a Space is looking at a view from the Group to which the Space belongs, and all post types are enabled ("what we're calling "Latest Activity"), they will see discussion posts from the Space aggregated in the Group view. 
Actual: Space posts are showing up in this same View within the Space but not within the Group that contains it (see images 1 and 2). 
Is this a bug or the specced functionality? If specced than consider this a feature request to all Space posts to be aggregated as this is a very powerful functionality to have and a real advantage to using Hylo.

space post should definitely appear in the parent group, as long as the toggle to Show posts from spaces and child groups you are e member of is toggled on in the header of the view

Tibet Sprague ah, got you! Is there a way to turn that on by default for a particular view? Or is it already and I somehow just accidentally turned it off?
