Additional details: I'm running Android 16 Build Number CP1A.260505.005 on a Pixel 8a, and the hang when clicking a link from the notification menu is screenshotted as an attachment.
For future reference, is it better to submit bugs with context here rather than through the Fin messenger service Krisha Subramanian?

Stephen Holsenbeck: this is where we want all bug reports to end up. So more than happy to have them submitted directly here.
This is certainly a consistent bug with CHAT room based notifications. Something is stalling the load.
We are either going to try fix this by-itself or wrap it up into a set of biggest changes to how we handle chatrooms. TBD!
