In our use case (The Living Commons), we operate on a monthly recurring contribution model (gift economy). When selecting “Monthly” as a duration, it’s unclear whether this means:

A recurring auto-charge each month (subscription model), OR a one-time payment that grants access for one month only.

For stewarding our community, we need the ability to configure recurring monthly contribution (auto-renews) with an easy way for members to increase their contribution later if they desire.
