When I went into the #Home Chat of the staging version, I had to scroll all the way down to the bottom, starting from 778 days ago. Is there a feature I missed to be able to see the most recent posts on top?

In Firefox.

this should now be fixed! when you first go to a new chat room it should take you to the most recent post. also we added a button to jump down to the most recent post if you are behind

so the Stream view is the place to see all posts starting with new posts at the top. Chat rooms work like chat on other platforms with new posts at the bottom. now that you have scrolled down to the bottom you should jump there next time you go back to the chat room. However if you have never visited a chat room you will start at the top, which is something we may want to reconsider. The easier fix though will be for us to add a little button to jump to the bottom/most recenct post.

Tibet Sprague, appreciate the clarification. I have not been noticing what you describe happening though -- if I understand correctly, that it only happens the first time I go into the Chat Room.

Since I was experimenting with the same Chat Room, I was able to reproduce the same process of repeated scrolling to the bottom of the same Chat Room (without trying to; but, for sure, as part of taking screenshots of what was happening and how I would language it). Maybe cuz it's the staging version??

Tibet Sprague, testing the same Chat rooms today -- and, can confirm that I am not being sent to the most recent post for Chat rooms that I've visited before. (Maybe just in testing environment??)
