Chat Room Privacy

From People:
i had thought # chat rooms would be a great space for our Stewards to chat in privacy, yet the options for access are Admin or Everyone. We don't want to make Stewards to have Admin access as a bad player might delete the group. Is there anyway to make # chat rooms able to choose which Roles (I created a new one for our Stewards) can be in a #chat room?

Is this related to role-based access? For instance creating a (non) admin permission for a group. Moni from Otherwise brought this up after a recent connect.
The idea is that members could opt into specific chat rooms (she refers to #other-gardens or #good-grief) without being exposed to all group content or receiving notifications for channels that aren't relevant. This could also tie into role-based access, assigning a role that grants membership to a specific chat room, so they have more control over who gets invited into which spaces.

Krisha, my thought was that some folks may want a private conversation without everyone looking in. It could be by role, or set up in other ways. It seems more onerous to have to set up a group with all the admin, than giving a small set of folks a "private room" to chat in. They could be temporary or permanent.

right now the best way to do this is create a sub-group
