Expected results: Clicking edit from the three-dot menu on a proposal (when starting on the Stream view) will allow me to edit the proposal.
Actual results: My browser goes to the edit view for less than a second, but then is redirected to the chat home. NOTE: It is also very difficult to find the three-dot drop down menu in dark mode. (That should probably be a separate bug ticket.)
Workaround: For a proposal you must start from the Decisions view in order to avoid getting redirected to chat home. For an event you must start from the Events view in order to avoid getting redirected to chat home.
Browser/OS: Firefox 134.0 installed as a snap on Ubuntu 22.04
Steps to reproduce:
  1. Create a proposal and save it.
  2. Observe that the URL is something like this: https://staging.hylo.com/groups/building-hylo/stream/post/83168.
  3. Make sure that you are in the Stream view. Then find the three-dot menu for the proposal (or event) that you created in step 1. This can be difficult if you are in dark mode, because the dots are white against a white background. So if you are in dark mode, it requires hovering next to the blue X (close icon) and then clicking with a leap of faith that you're over the three dots.
  4. Select the Edit option on the drop down.
  5. Observe that the URL very briefly changes to something like this: https://staging.hylo.com/groups/building-hylo/post/83168/edit
  6. Observe that the browser is then almost immediately redirected to the chat home URL, which is this: https://staging.hylo.com/groups/building-hylo/chat/home
